How we fit out a store around your trading hours
- Free on-site survey. Call (404) 480-0962 or request one online. We look at the slab under whatever is down now and confirm your closure window and the landlord rules.
- Schedule and access agreed. We fix the working hours, the phasing, and the exact time the unit is handed back, in writing, before anything is ordered.
- Strip out and preparation. Old tile, carpet or vinyl comes up behind hoarding, adhesive residue is ground off, and the slab is repaired and leveled.
- Finish installed. The slab is polished, coated or ground and sealed to the agreed finish, with dust extraction running throughout.
- Protection and handover. We protect the finished floor for the fit-out trades that follow, then walk the unit with you before you merchandise it.
Retail flooring in Buford: what store operators ask
How much does retail store flooring cost in Buford?
It is priced on area, the finish specified, what has to be removed first, and when we are allowed on site, and every store is surveyed and quoted for free. Out of hours and phased work carries a premium per square foot, and it is frequently still cheaper overall once the trading days it protects are counted. Removing old tile or glued vinyl is demolition rather than flooring, so we quote it as its own line rather than folding it into a rate.
Can you install the floor without closing the store?
Usually, yes. We phase the work behind hoarding so part of the floor is being installed while the rest of the unit trades, and we run the noisy and dusty stages overnight. Polished concrete and grind and seal both help here, because neither carries a long cure wait, so a finished area can go back under foot traffic quickly. Where a short full closure would genuinely work out cheaper for you, we will say so.
Which finish is best for a showroom floor?
It depends on whether the floor is meant to disappear or to be noticed. For most stores, polished concrete at a satin sheen is the right answer: neutral, reflective, and hard wearing under trolleys and foot traffic. Where the floor is part of the brand, a decorative or metallic coating gives you color and depth that polishing alone cannot. We will show you samples under your own store lighting before you commit to either.
What happens to the old tile or vinyl?
It comes up, and it is worth being clear that this is the disruptive part of the job rather than the flooring itself. Ceramic tile removal is noisy, and glued vinyl and carpet leave adhesive that has to be ground off before anything new goes down. We contain and extract the dust, run that stage out of hours where the center requires it, and take the waste away. It is priced separately so you can see exactly what the existing floor costs you to remove.
