Our garage floor coating process
- Free on-site quote. Call (404) 480-0962 or request one online. We measure your garage, check the slab, and bring finish samples to look at in your own light.
- Diamond grinding. We grind the slab to open the surface, then vacuum away every trace of dust.
- Crack and spall repair. Cracks, pits, and spalling are filled and honed flush so nothing telegraphs through the finish.
- Base coat and finish coat. A high-solids epoxy base goes down, followed by flake broadcast or the metallic design coat.
- Topcoat and cure. A clear, hot-tire rated topcoat seals the floor. Walk on it in about a day, park on it in three.
Sugar Hill garage flooring: common questions
What decorative options do we have for a garage floor?
More than most people expect. Flake blends range from quiet, granite-look neutrals to bold custom mixes, solid color epoxy comes in any tint, and metallic epoxy creates a flowing, dimensional surface that reads as polished stone. We bring samples to the quote so you can see finishes in your own garage light before deciding.
Is a metallic epoxy floor practical or just for looks?
Both. The metallic effect lives in the middle of the system, under the same clear, hot-tire rated topcoat we put on every garage. It parks cars, takes bikes and storage, and cleans up with soap and water like any of our floors. You pay for the extra design work, not extra fragility.
How much does garage flooring cost in Sugar Hill?
Pricing depends on slab condition, square footage, and the finish you choose, so we quote every Sugar Hill garage individually and for free. Standard flake sits at the lower end, metallic at the upper end, and repairs add prep time where needed. You get an exact, itemized number after a free on-site visit.
How do we keep a decorative floor looking new?
The same easy way as any coated floor: dust mop the grit, wash occasionally with warm water and dish soap, and wipe spills whenever you get to them. The clear topcoat carries the wear, and it can be refreshed years down the road without redoing the decorative layer underneath. No waxing or sealing schedule required.
